Bladnoch is a Lowland distillery with a fascinating history. It faced challenges to remain open and changed hands multiple times. Former owners, including Inver House and Bell’s, influenced the distillery’s production style, resulting in a diverse range of flavors in both official distillery bottlings and independent releases over the years.

This particular whisky was distilled on November 23, 1988, aged in single casks numbered #42001-2 for 11 years, and then bottled on August 2, 2000 by Signatory Vintage. Only 932 bottles were produced.

Nose: Very nice, fruity (lemon, tangerine) and floral.  Nice hints of spices from the wood.

Mouth: Very nice, fresh and balanced. Citrus, gooseberry, herbal tea.

Medium long finish, notes of pear.
